Float Valves

Connections, commonly called spuds when used on a float, connect stainless steel float valves or other devices being operated. All of the connections displayed here can be used with any of the float shapes illustrated on this page. In addition, there are connections available other than those shown here. If ordering a commonly used threaded connection, be sure to indicate whether it is a bolt thread or pipe thread.

Configuration options include:

  • Internal female machine threads
  • Internal female NPT threads
  • External female machine threads
  • External female NPT threads

Machine threads are available in both T303 & T316 stainless, with sizes including 6-32, 8-32, 10-32, 12-24, .250-20, 5/16-18, 3/8-16, .500-13, 5/8-11 and 5/8-18.

NPT threads are also available in both T303 & T316 stainless, with sizes including 1/8”, 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4” and 1.00”.
